KPIT Technologies Limited (previously KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd) is a global Indian firm based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. It is commonly referred to as KPIT and delivers software to automobile industry. KPIT has development offices throughout Europe, the United States, Japan, China, Thailand, and India.
In Q3 FY2019-20, the firm grew by 19.3 percent sequentially. It paid an interim dividend of Rs. 0.55 per share and recorded sales of US$76.88 million for the third quarter of fiscal year 2019-20. KPIT has filed 58 patents, published various research papers, and received many innovation awards.
KPIT provides software solutions to automotive industries in the form of products and services, and its business is divided into six domains: Autonomous Driving, Connected Vehicles, Electric & Conventional Powertrain, Vehicle Diagnostics, AUTOSAR, and Mechatronics. BMW, Cummins, Paccar, Lafarge, GM, DICV, and other companies have used KPIT's software solutions, such as Revolo, the first ARAI-certified JNNURM II compliant On-Bus intelligent transport system.
